Vodafone, a popular European mobile carrier, has accidentally leaked on their website that Apple’s latest iPhone (5 or 4GS) will be offered in black and white, as well as the same storage capacities the iPhone has had for years: 16GB and 32 GB.
According to Apple Insider, a product page for the Vodafone Sure Signal, which works as a signal booster for the carrier’s network, offers a list of phones compatible with the device.
Earlier, Vodafone’s site mentioned four “iPhone 5” models, which have since been removed, with the capacities of 16GB and 32GB, as well as the colors black and white.
This information suggests that Apple will offer white as a variant of its newest iPhone at launch, unlike the white iPhone 4, which was pushed back 10 months due to paint mixture troubles.
Although the information from Vodafone’s site could be incorrect, it is definitely worth considering, as it could definitely be a new lead! Why else would Vodafone have erased the new iPhone information off of the product page so quickly?
