The newest trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron is now available!
The trailer was released by Marvel and debuted during the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship. Leading up to it were a couple of teaser trailers that were released a week ago and earlier today.
The trailer includes several new scenes, such as a fully upgraded Ultron walking around, more footage of the massive fight between a sickly-looking Hulk and Iron Man’s Hulkbuster armor, and terrified, unstable members of the Avengers. Like the previous trailer before, it has the theme of the Avengers threatening to quit in a world that no longer needs them, and how they cannot stand against Ultron, as well as Ultron’s desire to eradicate humanity in order to “save” the planet. This is all set to the tune of a creepy piano rendition of “I’ve Got No Strings”.
Some of the more interesting pieces of the trailer include Black Widow strapped to a hospital bed and being prepared for surgery. Along with the ballerinas from the last one, it suggests that we will explore her past. There is also, curiously, little footage of Andy Serkis’s top secret character, which will continue to fuel speculation, as well as a mysterious woman in a cave, removing her coat.
