New Avengers Trailer to Premiere January 12

Marvel Entertainment has announced the release date for new trailer for the upcoming film, Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The trailer for the much-anticipated movie will premiere on January 12, during the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship. The event will be aired on ESPN, and will start at 8:30pm on Eastern Time.

The previous trailer, which included teased a few scenes to the tune of a sinister cover of the Pinocchio song “I’ve Got No Strings”, was supposed to be originally released during a new episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. However, the trailer was leaked a full week before, with Marvel releasing the trailer officially earlier than planned on October 22, and using additional footage for the S.H.I.E.L.D. premiere.

The sequel to the 2012 smash hit The Avengers has the famous heroes work together once more when Ultron (James Spader), an advanced, peacekeeping artificial intelligence, begins to despise humanity, and plans a global attack that will push the Avengers to their limits. New characters that will appear include Pietro and Wanda Maximoff (Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olson), a pair of twin siblings with superpowers, and Vision (Paul Bettany) a heroic android that stands against Ultron.

Will you be tuning in to the event to see the trailer? What do you think will be revealed on it? Share your theories and thoughts below!
