Although it is not 100% official at the moment, Hollywood is buzzing with different reports that Slim Shady is going to appear again on the big screen.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Eminem is going to star in “Random Acts of Violence”. It is basically a crime thriller that will be produced by 20th Century Fox.
Eminem is reportedly going to play an ex-con that has just been released from prison and the FBI tries to recruit him in order to bring down former partners.
Dennis Dennehy, Eminem’s representative, did not completely confirm the report. He said that the rapper’s producing team worked on this project for a long time. Dennis also added that everyone hopes that the movie is going to go into production but there is no official date set for the crew to start shooting.
Eminem did appear in different small roles in the past years but his role in “Random Acts of Violence” would be the first big role ever since the one in “8 Mile” in 2002.
