The explosive new ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ trailer has film fans ready to ride in a dusty, dirty, deadly post-apocalyptic wasteland.
Director George Miller returns to his successful ‘Mad Max’ franchise after almost 30 years.
The new ‘Mad Max’ trailer premiered at Comic-Con on Saturday and was released online this weekend. The latest ‘Mad Max’ installment rips apart this eighties retro franchise with an edgy, dubstep-fueled overhaul.
Brief glimpses of Tom Hardy as the titular Mad Max himself and Oscar-winner Charlize Theron as Furiosa tease what look to be brutal, fierce performances from each.
The ‘Mad Max’ trailer shows plenty of intense chase scenes, wild explosions, bared teeth and dirt-smeared faces – but it’s also remarkably beautiful to look at. Gritty but gorgeous bits of cinematography punctuate the otherwise frenetic chaos.
This first trailer doesn’t show much in the way of plot, but it grabs you out of your seat and straps you in for a chaotic ride into the ‘Mad Max’ – world whether you’re ready for it or not.
I, for one, can’t wait for this crazy ride to get here fast enough. This trailer has me sold.
