Who’s ready for another film series reboot?
MGM and Columbia Pictures have released a new trailer for RoboCop.
The new flick stars Joel Kinnaman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael K. Williams and Jay Baruchel.
After family man and honest street cop Alex Murphy is seriously injured, international corporation OmniCorp aims to save Murphy’s life using their many advances in robot technology.
The procedure proves successful and allows Murphy to return to work as a standard cop, but with extraordinary new robot abilities.
It is at this time as half-man and half-robot that Murphy is able to see life in a very different way than ever before.
RoboCop is a remake of the original 1987 science fiction/action thriller of the same name.
The film marks the beginning of a reboot for the RoboCop film series.
RoboCop opens in theaters and IMAX on February 12, 2014.
