NORAD Santa Tracker: Santa Zooming Across West Africa (link)

Santa is being tracked on radar by the NORAD Santa Tracker. NORAD is run by the North American Aerospace Defense Command, which is usually tasked with protecting North American skies and waters.

But tonight, it’s all about Santa. This reporter’s excited 7 year old daughter currently sits in front of a computer watching Santa as he finishes his trek across Europe and Africa, eagerly awaiting his Atlantic crossing.

His mission: bringing toys to good boys and girls.

So far, he has delivered 1,289,491,261  toys, according to the NORAD Santa Tracker and as seen through Google Earth at www.noradsanta.org/en/track3d.html  He still has a long way to go.

Soon it will be time in the US to put out the cookies and milk for Santa, following a tradition that has been passed down through the years, and then… a night filled with dreams of sugar plums that dance in the head!
