Tickets for NY Comic Con 2015 went on sale at noon today and in minutes the site had crashed and many sold out- but don’t worry you can still get tickets.
Event organizers were on top of the situation and issued an alert via Twitter telling fans not to go to the original site and re-directing them to this site: NY Comic Con virtual queue.
The site is a virtual queue, meaning once you click on the link you will be directed to the ticket page and have to wait your turn until you can purchase tickets.
When it is your turn the page will automatically redirect you to the purchase page: customers are taken in the order in which they click in.
Please note that if you get an error message while waiting that is normal according to the site- click refresh and you will get back on without losing your place in line.
Also, be advised the wait can be quite long (I have been in queue for over 45 minutes)and not everyone will get tickets.
NY Comic Con is one of the biggest events in the world of comics, video games anime, graphic novels, toys and more.
The annual event will take place this year from October 8- 11 at the Jacob Javitz Center and today is one of three opportunities to purchase tickets.
Today’s tickets can only be purchased online and as of now the virtual queue is running smoothly; we will update you of any more issues that arise.
