Omaha Steaks Site Crashes After Today Show Deal

Omaha Steaks announced on the Today Show that it would be extending its Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals which sent the internet into a frenzy and ended up crashing the website.

The company was pleased to announce that it would be offering serious bargains on its products to customers who logged in to make an order. The biggest deal that was being offered was the Sure to Thrill gift set. The regular retail price was $180 but this special deal priced it at $39.95.

Customers were so excited by the announcement on the Today Show that they hurried to the website. The overload of traffic caused the site to crash and no one could get on to order anything.

The company worked until they were able to get the site up, but it was missing some of its better deals. This left customers worried that the deals may not be back. Others took the time to take advantage of the other deals still posted.

One benefit of the sale is that all gift packages are eligible for free shipping.
