OPI is turning up the heat on its permanent collection by adding six new neon nail polishes to its lineup for summer 2014.
Just in time for warmer temps, the bright hues include pink, purple, yellow, coral, orange, and green.
A new white base coat designed to enhance the neon shades is also being released with the rest of OPI’s neon collection.
Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Co-Founder & Executive VP, said, ““With hands and feet constantly on display during warmer months, wearing nail lacquer is a must.”
“I am a big fan of bright colors for summer, and Neons by OPI delivers a bold look that pairs perfectly with sun-kissed skin. To really make the neon shades pop, I recommend using Put a Coat On!, a new white base coat developed to be worn with bright lacquer hues to further enhance color,” added Weiss-Fischmann.
The new shades will also be available in GelColor, making them OPI’s first full-size neon polishes and first neon gel colors.

The new Neons by OPI nail polish will retail for $9.00 ($10.95 CAN) and be available May 2014 at professional salons and retailers including Beauty Brands, BeautyBrands.com, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JC Penney Salons, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, Ulta, and ulta.com.
GelColor is available only as a professional service done in salons with prices ranging from $28 – $38 for manicures and $35 – $45 for pedicures.
