They say every rumor has some truth in it, and for Oreo lovers that’s a good thing! It turns out the rumors about Oreo making a S’mores flavored cookie are true!
Oreo’s Limited-Edition S’mores Cookie will be available starting this Friday, May 22, at stores nationwide; the flavor will be available for standard packages only, not individual serving size packs.
As of now there is no word on how long they will be on store shelves, but since their release coincides with Memorial Day weekend (the unofficial start of summer) odds are they will be around at least through June.
The new flavor consists of graham cracker cookies with chocolate-marshmallow creme filling and, according to taste tester,s they really do have a S’mores taste to them.
That is a big plus, since Oreo has a history of releasing limited edition flavors, like birthday cake, to mixed reviews.
Oreo S’mores will come in the same signature blue package as all the other flavors, with a picture of the new cookie on top.
