Osama Bin Laden Death T-Shirts Now Available

Less than 12 hours after President Obama announced that Osama bin Laden has been killed, vendors were selling commemorative t-shirts online and in the streets.

Street vendors were set up in areas such as New York and Washington, DC where they were offering custom made styles at prices ranging from $10 to $25 each. Some of the shirts simply carry a photo of bin Laden while others have President Obama on them as well. The shirts, depending on vendor and location, carry slogans such as: “It took Obama to get Osama”, “Osama got Obama’d” and “Rest in Pieces”.

Online vendor Zazzle is offering up t-shirts and other merchandise with the slogan “Obama got Osama”, while Cafe Press is adding some humor with a shirt that says “Sorry it took so long to get you a copy of my birth certificate. I was too busy killing Osama bin Laden.”

The t-shirts are not the only Osama related merchandise being sold today. Many sellers on Ebay are offering Osama related items for sale in celebration. Merchants are also selling copies of today’s newspapers for up to twenty times their normal price. Even local businesses are joining in. Many companies are offering freebies, discounts and sales as a part of the celebration today.
