Paris Attacks: Airline Updates, Refunds & Cancellations, Tourist Sites Closed

In light of the devastating terror attacks that took place in Paris last night several airlines are waiving their cancellation fees and major tourist attractions have been shut down.

Both American Airlines and Delta are giving full refunds to those who do not wish to fly to Paris.

A Delta Inc. spokeswoman informed us that passengers also have the option of changing their tickets to a different destination at no additional cost.

As of now both Orly and Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airports are open and flights are operating normally between there and the U.S.

However, anyone still planning to head into Paris should check with their airlines to make sure flights are not delayed or cancelled for any reason.

The French Foreign Ministry warns that travelers can expect delays due to increased security and other safety measures.

In addition to the airline updates, citizens of Paris as well as tourist should be aware that the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum and other tourist attraction are closed until further notice.

Please check back with us, as we will update this information as it becomes available.
