The People’s Choice Awards hosted by The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco aired tonight on CBS at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater.
The award show gave fans the opportunity to select winners ranging from movies, television and music.
The night consisted of superstar performances by Jason Aldean, Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keys.
Oscar winning actress Sandra Bullock received high honor as the fan favorite humanitarian for her philanthropic work, specifically in regards to her dedication and efforts to New Orleans’s Warren Easton Charter High School.
Another big winner of the night was Katy Perry, who won 3 awards including the fans’ favorite female artist,pop artist and her video for “Part of Me” also won.
Nonetheless, the biggest victor of the night goes to The Hunger Games, which won a total of 5 awards.
The film was named favorite movie, action movie and movie franchise. Also, stars Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth took home fans’ favorite on-screen chemistry. Lawrence additionally won favorite movie actress and “face of heroism.”
