Pizza Hut announced on Wednesday that it’s introducing a new pizza that comes with a crust featuring 16 cheesy semi-circles that can be taken off and eaten individually.
The new addition to the menu is called ‘Crazy Cheesy Crust.’
Pizza Hut introduced the Stuffed Crust Pizza back in 1995, which included cheese filling. It was introduced as a limited time offer, but it was a hit and became a permanent item on the menu.
The stuffed crust cheese pizza has been available with different toppings inside.
The latest pizza takes the shape from Pizza Hut’s ‘Crown Crust’ pie that was introduced in Middle East last year.
Spokesman for the pizza-making giant, Doug Terfehr, said the ‘Crazy Cheesy Crust’ was developed specifically for the US market.
The new introduction comes before the Final Four MLB games this weekend, and it’s the time when the sales of pizza boom.
According to a local Pizza Hut near our location, the Crazy Cheesy Crust pizza is already available. It comes in one size and the price for a one topping version is $12.99 (prices may vary by location).
