PopCap Games, an EA division, just announced that a sequel to Plants vs. Zombies will be released in the “first half of 2013”. The official release date/launch window mentioned is “late spring”.
Just as fans from all around the world expected, the game will have new and interesting “features, settings, and situations”. This news comes as PopCap games is currently heavily promoting the franchize and Talking Zombatar should appear by the end of the year. In addition, Zen Studios will release a pinball table that will feature a well known PopCap franchise. According to specialists, the franchise in question is Plants Vs. Zombies, although other franchizes like Zuma, Bookworm, Peggle and Bejeweled are possible.

PopCap Games, maker of some of the world’s most popular video game franchises and a division of EA, today announced that the underground growth of the sequel to Plants vs. Zombies™, one of the world’s most popular video games, is germinating and advancing with rigor.
Plants vs. Zombies is a game that gained a lot of popularity, ever since it was launched. According to most buyers, this is because of the colorful zombies and plants presented, together with a great mix of possible level types. The highly popular Create A Zombie feature is expected to be included, together with arcade levels and various other game modes.
