Amazon is giving Prime Now subscribers a chance to preorder Call of Duty: Black Ops III for delivery right to their doorsteps at midnight on Friday when the game is released.
Reservations for Amazon’s midnight delivery of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will begin at midnight Eastern Standard Time tonight, November 4.
Shoppers who want midnight delivery must use the Prime Now app to pre-order their copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops III tonight. From there, shoppers can select a special delivery window as well as anything else they’d like to add to their order such as gaming controllers, beverages, or snacks, according to Amazon.
Amazon is encouraging customers to already have the Prime Now app downloaded and ready to go at midnight EST on November 4 since each delivery window will have limited availability.
Cities that will be eligible for the Amazon Prime Now midnight delivery of Call of Duty: Black Ops III on release night—November 6— include Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Manhattan, Miami, Minneapolis, Orange County, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento, San Antonio, San Francisco, San Jose and Seattle.
Gamers outside of Prime Now coverage areas can pre-order download codes on eligible platforms and receive their codes by email during the midnight release.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III– expected to be the most popular video game on wish lists for holiday 2015—is available for Xbox One, PlayStation, and PC platforms.
Prices vary based on platform. Call of Duty: Black Ops III Standard Edition is $59.88 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC through Amazon Prime. A download code is $59.99 for PlayStation 4 and PC. The cost drops to $49.88 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
A Call of Duty: Black Ops III Digital Deluxe Edition is available for $99.99 as a download code for PlayStation 4 and PCs. In addition to the full game, a Season Pass and extra digital content such as Personalization Packs and The Giant Bonus Map are included.
Both video game discs and download codes are available for pre-order on the Amazon site. Pre-ordered download codes for Call of Duty: Black Ops III will be available at midnight Pacific Standard Time on Friday, November 6, 2015.
Shoppers who pre-order the download codes will receive an email when their download is ready. It will be available for download anytime after the release time and customers won’t be charged for the pre-order until the time of release.
