Among this week’s new releases include Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, The Family, Prisoners, Lee Daniels’ The Butler, You’re Next and Kick-Ass 2.

In Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, Percy and his friends search for the legendary Golden Fleece at the Sea of Monsters.

The film is the second installment of the Percy Jackson film franchise.

The fantasy adventure film stars Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario, Jake Abel and Douglas Smith.

Next up, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chloe Grace Moretz, reprise their roles in super-hero action film Kick-Ass 2.

This time around, Kick-Ass joins forces with a handful of costumed citizens who have been inspired by Kick-Ass to fight crime.

In Lee Daniels’ The Butler, Forest Whitaker stars as Cecil Gaines, a butler who served eight presidents during his time in the White House.

Lee Daniels’ The Butler has an all-star cast, including Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, John Cusack and Jane Fonda.

In the drama-thriller Prisoners, a man does everything possible in order to find out what happened to his missing daughter and her friend.

Prisoners stars Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Maria Bello, Terrence Howard and Viola Davis.

In the Robert De Niro crime comedy The Family, an infamous mafia family struggles to fit in with society when the witness protection program forces them to move to France.

Michelle Pfeiffer, Tommy Lee Jones, Dianna Agron and John D’Leo also star in the flick.

Those looking for a good scare this week should catch You’re Next, starring Ti West, Amy Seimetz, Joe Swanberg, AJ Bowen and Sharni Vinson.

In the gory horror film, a family is attacked by a group of masked killers during a weekend getaway.

Other noteworthy releases include A.C.O.D. (Adult Children of Divorce), Aqua Tales, Fruitvale Station and The Spectacular Now.
