Konami, the developers of the Pro Evolution Soccer Franchise, have officially announced on August 23, 2012 the inclusion of 20 teams from across Brazil in the new PES-2013 edition.
The company also specified that official stadiums, rosters and kits will be included in the game. The addition of these teams implies the interest of the company to tap into wide spread soccer following in the Latin American region.
The list of teams included are: Atlético Mineiro, Fluminense, Vasco da Gama, Gremio, SC Internacional, Botafogo, Cruzeiro, Sao Paulo, Corinthians, Náutico, Flamengo, Portuguesa, Ponte Preta, Santos, Palmeiras, Coritiba, Bahia, Sport, Atletico Goianense and Figueirense.
A new demo will be available for download on August 28, for the Xbox 360 and on August 29, for the Play Station 3. The windows PC version of the demo will made available later in September. The new demo will include 11 fully licensed teams and the possibility to play 10 minute matches. Also, new anthems have been implemented for the starting line-ups and fans will have the possibility of experiencing, for the first time, the brand new training trials. PES-2013 is set for a Q3, 2012 release in all the major markets and all platforms.
