Probiotic Drops Can Help Colicky Babies

Probiotic Drops Can Help Colicky Babies

For many moms colic is a real problem with no real solution.

Colicky babies are often thought to be gassy and cranky.  The reality is that colic is usually an indication of a more serious medical problem, such as milk allergies or acid reflux.

That’s why probiotics are an ideal solution for dealing with colic.

Until recently there was nothing on the market to combat colic except for Mylcon, or gas drops.

As most moms can tell you these drops do not help.  That’s because they only target the gas symptoms and are not able to treat the causes of colic.

Probiotics, on the other hand, treat both symptoms and causes.   They target the bacteria in your babies stomach, allowing them to better digest their milk or formula.  This significantly cuts down on spit up and greatly reduces gas.

All you have to do is give them to your baby once a day and you will see results almost immediately.

More importantly, your baby will feel and look healthier and happier.

It sounds almost too good to be true, but it IS true.  They are also natural and safe to use.

As a mother of two boys who both had severe milk allergies I can personally vouch for how dramatically probiotics reduce colic and improve a child’s health.  The only drawback is that they can be expensive,  about $25 a bottle, which lasts about a month.  They are also not currently covered by insurance.

However they are worth every penny.  Any mom who can should invest in these drops,  they will do wonders for your baby.  You can speak to your doctor to find out which one would be best for your child.
