Pure Skin: Sensitive Skin Shaving Cream Review

I’m not too picky when it comes to shaving creams.  If it lathers and moisturizes and doesn’t give me razor burn, I’m pretty happy.

I used to use the Skintimate sensitive skin formula shave gel.  It worked wonderfully and always left my skin feeling soft and hydrated.  However, I had an allergic reaction to it that caused my eyes to burn every time I used it, so I began searching for a new one; I picked up the Pure Skin shaving cream to give it a shot.

I didn’t think that a shaving cream could be as bad as this one.

This shaving cream, if you could call it that, does absolutely nothing.  It comes out of the can as a nice, fluffy white shaving cream, as you would expect.  However, it’s dry.  There’s no moisture in the cream.  It’s the most bizarre consistency, almost seemingly stripping moisture from anything it touches.  No matter how much water you put on your skin before using it, it feels as if it’s being rubbed onto bone-dry skin.

I’m not sure where they went wrong in the making of this shaving cream, but they need to return to the drawing board and reformulate.

Have you used this shaving cream?  What did you think?  Let us know!
