Redbox: New Releases – Full List

Redbox has a number of new DVD movie releases available in their ‘red boxes’ now.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps can now be rented from the $1 a night DVD vending machines. It stars Michael Douglas as Gordon Gekko, who returns to reclaim his place at the top of Wall Street.

Animated film Despicable Me is available on Blu-Ray and DVD. Despicable Me has a rating of 81% favorability amongst critics on movie review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

Another new release at Redbox with a high positive rating at Rotten Tomatoes (96%) at Redbox is Animal Kingdom. Critic Emanuel Levy calls it a “scary and grim but also engrossing and well-acted Aussie crime drama”.

Other notable releases that are new in Redbox machines are Buried, Takers, The Social Network, and The A Team, all available in both DVD and Blu-Ray. Available in DVD are Devil, Language Of The Enemy, The Virginity Hit, Alpha And Omega, Cat In The Hat: Up And Away, Piranha,  The Town, and A Dog Year.

Shares of Coinstar, the parent company of Redbox, have been down ever since last week’s announcement that it was lowering 2010 fourth-quarter profit projections. The company blamed agreements made with studios to delay the renting of new releases for 28 days.
