Ryan Gosling is set to make a writing and directing debut with the movie “How To Catch A Monster”. It will presented during Toronto International Film Festival and already has Christina Hendricks as a confirmed actress.
Gosling is set to produce the movie with Adam Siegel and Marc Platt from Marc Platt Productions and also David Lancaster and Michel Litvak from Bold Films. The financing is handled by Bold Films. In a recent press statement, Gosling declared:
“I am very appreciative to Marc Platt, Adam Siegel and Bold Films for being so supportive, and I look forward to making this film with all of them.”
Litvak responded:

How To Catch A Monster will combine suspense with fantasy noir elements. It is a modern fairy tale and the main character will be Billy, played by Hendricks. She portrays a single mother with 2 children that ends up in an underworld that is macabre.
