Sales Abound On Tabletop Day

Saturday, April 11, is Geek & Sundry’s third annual International Tabletop Day.

Local board game stores across North America have registered events on Geek & Sundry’s website, and many have sales and promotional items available. To find an event, search by city or postal code.

Online retailer Coolstuffinc.com is holding a sale on select board games through Monday.

Amazon.com has up to 50 percent off on its top-rated strategy games in a Gold Box Deal today.

Powell’s City of Books is selling its 50 favorite games at 20 percent off.

Geek & Sundry says on its website that last year’s day had more than 3,000 events in 80 countries. This year, the company is donating a game to Big Brothers Big Sisters for each event registered.

Events are also being promoted all day on social media with the hashtag #tabletopday.
