Samsung To Roll Out Android 4.1.2 For Bell Galaxy S2 Shortly

Samsung’s Facebook page is a great resource to receive frequent updates about firmware releases in U.S and Canada.

Today Samsung Mobile Canada posted that Galaxy S2 users in Canada who are on the Bell network are set to receive the update of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

The update will bring a lot of new features for Bell S2 users.

They’ll receive TouchWiz Nature US, a new lock screen that can be customized, native Samsung S-Cloud services, the Project Butter update, new widgets (similar to the ones on Galaxy S3), double home screen modes, a revamped notification bar, Google Now and improved features in the camera software.

The source also revealed that other carriers such as Telus and Rogers will also be receiving updates in the next few weeks.

The update will be sent to Bell users over-the-air, but updating via Samsung KIES may also be possible.

Are you on Bell? Excited about this update? Feel free to leave comments.
