Sign Up For Free Streaming Movies/Shows From HBO Now, Ends Tomorrow

HBO Now is currently offering free streaming movies and HBO original shows for 30 days.

The free trial includes full seasons of many HBO original series and all the regular movies that are showing on HBO during the trial period.

According to HBO, the sign up window for the free trial ends tomorrow, April 30, 2015.

HBO Now is a freestanding streaming service. Users are not required to have a regular HBO subscription. Movies and HBO original series are available on HBO Now the same day they become available on HBO, according to the HBO Now site.

Unfortunately, there are severe restrictions on who can sign up for it, at least of you don’t have an Apple device.

HBO Now is only offered, at this time, through iTunes on Apple devices or to Optimum broadband subscribers in CT, NY or NJ.

If you’re a Windows or Android user and not an Optimum subscriber, you’re pretty much out of luck.

HBO’s site says that more providers are “coming soon”. Hopefully HBO will re-institute the free trial when they do.

Some of the movies and shows available on HBO Now over the next month include Draft Day, This is Where I Leave You, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, The 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, The Devil Wears Prada, Talented Mr. Ripley, Maria Full of Grace, Clear History, Mayweather – Pacquiao: At. Last, Godzilla, Big, Before Sunset, Game of Thrones, VEEP, Real Time with Bill Maher, Vice, and Nightingale.

For users that decide to continue the service after the free 30 day trial, the cost is $14.99 per month.
