Simpsons & Family Guy Set To Air Huge Crossover Episode

On September 28th, two of the biggest animated television shows in history are set to cross paths and throw in a cameo from another show for the heck of it.

The Simpsons & Family Guy are set to release a crossover episode, and in an attempt to get fans salivating, released footage at Comic Con this last week.

During the screening, it was revealed that Homer and Peter start out as fast friends before things turn ugly and they come to blows. The most surprising part of the footage was the cameo of Bob from Bob’s Burgers, another Fox animated show.

The mammoth episode will also feature a cameo from a huge movie star, Liam Neeson, to further entice people to give the episode a watch.

The other heavily featured duo in the glimpse into the future episode are Bart and Stewie. Bart is shown teaching Stewie to ride a Skateboard. In a possible sign of the dynamic of their relationship, Stewie is drawn wearing a replica of the clothes Bart is nearly always seen sporting.

This is not the first crossover between the two monster shows. Seth McFarlane, the creator of Family Guy, guest starred in an episode where he is trying to steal Marge away from Homer. And an episode of Family Guy once featured a group of familiar Springfield regulars sitting in judgement of Peter, Quagmire, Joe and Cleveland.
