Best Buy is having a big sale today on smartphones, tablets, laptops and HDTV’s.
Looking at the smartphones first, we find some of the deals require new or upgraded contracts and trade-ins.
They have the the Samsung Galaxy on sale today for $1 with the trade-in of a working smartphone and a new or upgraded contract. This deal is only available in stores, according to our contact at Best Buy.
They have the Apple iPhone 5C free with contact, and the iPhone 5S on sale for $124.99 with contract, both in store and online.
The brand new Verizon Moto G is arriving at Best Buy stores and will be available for $99, no contract required.
Now come the tablets – today only Best Buy has the 128GB Microsoft Surface Pro on sale for $599.99, $300 off their regular price. This is the first generation model. The deal is available both in stores and through their site. (save $300) through Saturday, Jan. 4.
They also have other tablets on sale for up to 30% off. These include other Microsoft Surface first generation models, the Amazon Kindle Fire, the Google Nexus 7, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.
For laptops – Best Buy has the 13 inch MacBook Pro on sale at $100 off. Unfortunately Retina models are not included in the sale though.
And for HDTVs, they have the 55 inch LG 55LN5600 on sale for $559 ($250 off), the 32 inch Insignia 32D205 HDTV on sale for $149 ($50 off), the 40 inch RCA 40 on sale for $299 ($30 off), the 47 inch LG 47LN5200 HDTV on sale for $449 ($50 off).
In addition to the sale prices, Best Buy told Consumer Press that members of their My Best Buy rewards program will receive 5 times the normal Best Buy points on purchases made in their stores today.
