Sons of Anarchy won’t be back until September, but there’s still a lot to talk about: who’s returning, who’s leaving and who will make it to the end.

As we reported yesterday, Michael Beach has confirmed he will be back to reprise his role as T.O. Cross, president of the Grim Bastards, a SAMCRO ally.

Cross has been seen sporadically throughout the series, particularly in season 5.

Cross was close to former SAMCRO president Clay (Ron Perlman), who is dead at the hands of new president  Jax (Charlie Hunnam).  This should make for an interesting dynamic between them.

Tim Coates, who plays lovable, messed-up Tigs, is also returning, but he may not survive according to a recent interview he did with the Herald Son.

He told the paper: ” Part of me wants to be the guy who has a smoke in one hand and my dog in the other that shut the club lights out with my nose…And part of me wants to go down in a hail of bullets.”

It is still unknown if CCH Pounder, who plays Tyne Patterson and Kim Dickens, who plays Collette Jane will be back because they are both starring on other shows.

Pounder is on NCIS: New Orleans , but may be back for a few episodes since she was central to season 6 (this may mean she will meet at ominous ending).

Dickens  is currently on Backstrom, but she was involved with Jax, who will definitely need some comfort after Tara’s murder last season, so time will tell.

Jimmy Smits is back as fan favorite Nero, but he is at odds with Jax and the club, so his days may be numbered.
