Sons of Anarchy Season 7 Spoilers: Ep.1 “The Black Widower”/Chibs Exposed &  Comic-Con Update

The 7th and final season of ‘Sons of Anarchy’ will air this September, with episode 1, “The Black Widower” indicating that Jax’s road to vengeance will be the focal point of the premiere.

“The Black Widower” is obviously in reference to Jax (Charlie Hunnam), who is mourning his wife Tara’s (Maggie Siff) gruesome murder at the end of season 6.

Unbeknownst to Jax his mother Gemma (Katey Segal), murdered her and fellow SAMCRO member Juice (Theo Rossi) helped her cover it up, setting up what we can only imagine will be an intense, gut-wrenching confrontation in season 7.

As a fan from day 1 who has invested time and emotion in these character I can only say that I am anxious to see how this incredible drama concludes.

It hasn’t always been pretty to watch, but it has always felt amazingly real, almost like you’re watching through a window and as a viewer I have never been disappointed.

In other show news:

Show creator (and my personal nominee for most creative mind in the business) Kurt Sutter also revealed via twitter that fans are going to see a WHOLE lot more of Chibs (Tommy Flanagan) in this upcoming season.

Sutter recently tweeted: ” For all you scotophiles I can safely say that there will be a semi-naked CHIBS this season”.  Chibs is a fan favorite so it’s a good bet a lot of ladies will be setting their DVR’s for that one.

Finally, the cast will be appearing at their final “Sons of Anarchy” panel at Comic-Con on July 27th.

The SOA panel is one of the highlights of the convention, giving fans up-close access to all their favorites, most of whom will be in attendance.

The event will run from 12:30 P.M (PST) to 1:30 P.M. (PST) at the San Diego convention in Hall H.

Scheduled to appear are: Katey Segal, Kim Coates, Mark Boone Junior, Tommy Flanagan, Theo Rossi, Dayton Callie and Jimmy Smits.

Charlie Hunnam can’t be there in person but will appear via satellite, so fans won’t be disappointed.

Fans will also have the opportunity to speak to the man himself, show creator Kurt Sutter, who also be in attendance along with executive producer Paris Barclay.

Season 7 of ‘Sons of Anarchy’ airs this September on FX.

You can get the first 5 seasons on DVD through Netflix, Hulu, Best Buy and Amazon.

A representative for Amazon told Consumer Press that Season 6 should be out by the beginning of August.
