A new way to speed-read has just been released exclusively on Samsung devices, giving consumers their first experience with this brand-new technology.

It was created by Boston based Spritz Technologies and it might change the way you read forever.

The purpose of the technology is to enable you to process text in the least amount of time.  A text bar, similar to one you’d find in a message thread, shows the material you are reading one word at a time.

The theory is that all you see is what you actually need to read.

Right now it is being released to read emails and texts on the Galaxy S5 and Samsung Gear 2.   The program has different settings, but at its fastest it can allow you to read over 1,000 words a minute, according to Spritz.  It will be offered in English, Spanish, French, German, Russian and Korean.

The company plans to make it available for other operating devices and applications in the near future.

At this time the app is free and will be embedded in the S5 and Gear 2.  If you don’t own a Samsung device you can go to Spritzinc.com to try it out.

Do you have a S5 or Gear 2?

Will you be trying this out?
