Splinter Cell: Blacklist Coming To Wii U – Release Date, Details

Today, Ubisoft confirmed that Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist is coming to Nintendo’s Wii U on August 20th, the same as its PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.

The European version of the game will be released on August 22nd, and August 23rd in the UK.

The Wii U version is designed to allow players to use the touchscreen on the GamePad to control gadgets, take out enemies with the new techniques, and switch between weapons, easily.

The game will also support motion-based inputs for a one-of-a-kind gameplay experience.

There will be a new feature called the Snake Camera.  It’s a miniature device used for peering through keyholes.

Its been rumored since last October that the game would make an appearance on Wii U.  However, this is the first time its been officially confirmed.
