Sprint Will Announce ZTE Quantum In Next Few Weeks

Sprint and ZTE have joined hands once again.

AndroidPolice reports that Sprint is testing ZTE Quantum, and the smartphone is expected to be announced within next few weeks.

ZTE Quantum comes with a 5-inch HD display that has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, an Andreno 2245 GPU, a Qualcomm MSM896 dual-core Snapdragon S4 1.5 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal SD memory, a microSD slot for memory expansion that goes up to 32 GB, a 13 mega-pixel back camera that features LED flash, autofocus and video recording (1080p HD) and a 1 mega-pixel front camera.

The software is Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

The device is fully compatible with Sprint 4G LTE and comes with dual-band Wi-Fi and NFC support.

It’s also rumored that this handset could come with its own slot for a SIM card rather than an embedded SIM.

It’s a mid-budget to high-end smartphone.

There’s no word on the price or release date at the moment.
