Score Update: Warriors Defeat Spurs, FREE Streaming & What’s At Stake

*Update: Warriors win 92-86 over the Spurs *

The Spurs and Warriors meet tonight for the final time in the regular season, and never before has such an irrelevant game (in terms of playoff potential) meant so much.

With both teams on track to make history, expect big plays and big ratings as this already intense rivalry goes to a whole new level.

Before we break down what’s at stake, here’s a rundown of where, when and how to watch.

Game Time & Channel: 7 P.M. EST on NBA TV.

Free Live Streaming: Streaming on your PC, tablet or phone is available, thanks to a special 1-day FREE preview from NBATV.

The preview is available to all cable and satellite subscribers- no purchase necessary.

What’s at Stake: A lot! With both teams starting rotations expected to go, it should be a high-scoring, high-ratings game.

Here’s what they’re playing for:

The Warriors, as NBA fans know, will break the record for most wins in a season (72) set by the ’95-’96 Bulls if they can beat the Spurs tonight and the Grizzlies on Wednesday; a loss here would mean they can only tie the record.

A win tonight will also make them the 1st team to go an entire season without back-to-back losses and without losing twice to the same team.

In addition, Warrior point guard and shooting marvel Steph Curry is just twelve 3-pointers away for hitting 400 in a season, making him the 1st player to do so.

The Spurs, on the flip side, are trying to become the first team in NBA history to go undefeated at home for an entire season.

A win would also give them 68 on the season, making them the 7th team to amass that many wins in a season.

Of those 7 previous teams, 6 went on to win the title, the exception being the ’72-’73 Celtics.

So a Spurs win would out them and the Warriors at 68+, which means the NBA will have a guaranteed non-winning 68 win team (say that 3-times fast).

No matter what the outcome, this game should be a great one for NBA fans.
