Free Xbox w/New Laptop Or PC For Students – How & Where

Select student laptops and PC’s now come with a free Xbox 360.

The promotion, offered through Microsoft, is available through a variety of retailers, both online and off. Proof of being a college student is required, either by ordering with a .edu email address, or showing a student id at check out at physical stores.

To get the free Xbox, the college student must purchase a Windows 7 computer of $699 or more. The deal started yesterday and goes through the summer. The free Xbox deal is only good in the US for now, but according to Microsoft, it will be extended to Canada and France soon.

Online, the deal is being offered to students through Best Buy, Dell, HP, and Microsoft. Offline, it is available at Best Buy and Microsoft Stores. Students must be a current college student to qualify. Current high school students preparing to attend college in the fall do not qualify, according to reports. It is also limited to one per student. The free Xbox deal is set to expire September 3 or when supplies run out.
