Stephen Colbert Auctions Bill O’Reilly’s Stolen Microwave For Charity

Stephen Colbert has recently created an Ebay auction for a used microwave to raise money for the Yellow Ribbon Fund, which benefits injured service members and their families.

100% of the proceeds of the auction will go to this charity.

The GE brand microwave, Colbert claims, is one that he stole from Bill O’Reilly and the set of the O’Reilly Show seven years ago in 2007.

The microwave, since then, has been in Colbert’s possession, and he has used it to cook the occasional frozen burrito.

Colbert has signed the microwave and hints that other celebrities visiting his show might do the same.

The microwave currently only has 55 bids; however, the price of the microwave is already up to $3100.

The auction is set to end on February 22, 2014 at 5:57 PST.

Would you consider bidding on this microwave if you had some extra cash?

Are you surprised about the current bid on the microwave?
