Starbucks launched its Evolution Fresh Smoothies Line today in stores on the West Coast as part of its new partnership with Dannon Yogurts.
The smoothies are now available regionally in Starbucks stores in northern California, Washington, Oregon and parts of Idaho.
Nationally, they can be found in Starbucks stores that are located inside a grocery location, such as Target.
These drinks are made with Dannon Greek yogurt and cold pressed juice for a healthy, tasty treat; the Sweet Greens smoothie is made with green juice.
Right now there are 3 flavors available: Sweet Greens, Strawberry, and Mango Carrot; they retail for $5.95.
Like other healthy juices and smoothies customers can customize the drink by adding protein powder or leafy greens such as kale.
Starbucks has been testing these drinks since last year and is extremely pleased with the feedback it’s received.
These smoothies are the first of many products that will be available as part of this collaboration; here are the details on the other products set to make their debut:
·Evolution Greek parfaits are expected to be available starting this May in over 6,000 Starbucks locations and will cost between $3.750$4.25.
They will be made using creamy, Greek, non-fat yogurt, artisan granola and fresh fruit; Strawberry and the Dark, Sweet Cherry flavors will be available all year long and the Fresh berries and Honey flavor will be seasonal.
· Dannon Fruit on the Bottom Greek Yogurts will hit select grocery stores in May and go nationwide everywhere by July; four flavors will be available: Blueberry, Black Cherry, Raspberry Blackberry and Pineapple Passion Fruit.
They are expected to sell for around $1.69.
