Syfy’s Haven Renewed For Season 5, 26 Episodes Ordered!

The hit Syfy show Haven has been approved for 26 episodes for its fifth season.

This week, the television network Syfy announced its plans for season 5 of the hit supernatural series Haven.

The show has been approved for a whopping 26 episodes for its fifth season, which is considerably more than a normal season order.

The drawback, however, is that the 26 episodes will be split over a period of two years.

The first 13 episodes of Season 5 are set to air in fall 2014, while the remaining 13 episodes are scheduled to air sometime in 2015.

Despite the split in time, production for the entire fifth season is scheduled to begin in Nova Scotia this spring.

Haven stars Emily Rose, Lucas Bryant and Eric Balfour.

The popular supernatural drama is based on the Stephen King novel The Colorado Kid.

The story involves Audrey Parker, a former FBI agent that arrives in the small town of Haven, Maine  in order to locate a fugitive.

Once there, Parker discovers that her past is mysteriously tied to the town.

Haven airs Fridays on the Syfy network.

The show remains popular among viewers ages 18-49, with weekly ratings averaging over 2 million viewers.
