Target Ticket Offering 10 Free Movies To New Members – Details!

Target has become the latest entity to offer digital video streaming movies and TV shows with the introduction of Target Ticket.

While viewers can access content anywhere from a variety of devices, what sets this service apart is its family-friendly features.

Parents can control what their children watch by accessing thousands of reviews and setting filters for level of profanity, violence, MPAA and TV Parental Guidelines, as well as age-appropriateness.

If a household has a variety of ages to accommodate and those viewers want to watch different movies or shows at the same time, Target Ticket has an option for that too.  By setting up a customized profile for each member of the family, individualized content can be simultaneously streamed to separate devices.

Anne Stanchfield, divisional merchandise manager of entertainment at Target says, “Many of our guests told us that streaming and viewing videos is complicated, so we created Target Ticket to simplify the experience.”

Stanchfield added, “Target Ticket will help guests who are looking for a kid-safe, easy-to-use service that mirrors what they have come to expect from Target’s entertainment offerings – a premium selection of the newest titles plus exclusive content, all at an affordable price.”

Target Ticket has no subscription or sign-up fees. REDcard holders are given 5 percent off each purchase.

Prices for the 30,000 movie and television titles available for purchase or rent start at 99 cents.

The rental period is 48 hours with no restrictions on how many times content is watched within that time frame.

In addition, new members will receive 10 free downloads on select movies from Target Ticket. The free movies are available from a pre-selected list though – not every movie available on the service qualifies as a freebie.

Twenty-eight movies qualify for the free download. According to a rep for Target, examples include:  “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon,” “Hall Pass,” “Paranormal Activity” and “Ranjo.”

Target says the movies available through Target Target include new blockbuster releases such as “The Croods,” “Iron Man 3,” Star Trek Into Darkness,” and “World War Z,” in addition to popular series such as “Game of Thrones,” True Blood,” and “Homeland”.

Over 50 next-day television shows offered include “Big Bang Theory,” “Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles,” and “The Walking Dead.”

Some movies will feature “Target exclusive bonus footage”.

Currently, Target Ticket is available for PCs, Macs, Samsung TVs and Blu-Ray players, Android, iOS, Roku, and Xbox.

According to Target, additional devices will be added in the coming months.

Target Ticket can be accessed by downloading the Target Ticket app at the App Store or Google Play, or by visiting TargetTicket.com.
