Temple Run is one of the favorite games of smartphone gamers.
Imangi Studios released Temple Run 2 earlier this month, and the game saw an astonishing 20 million downloads in the first 4 days.
Today, the developer has laid another bombshell figure, announcing the game has now passed 50 million downloads across Android, iOS and Kindle Fire platforms within 13 days.
The figure isn’t the only highlight of the announcement. Temple Run 2 has broken the record of Angry Birds Space, which had 50 million downloads in 35 days.
The co-founder of the company is thrilled that fans have embraced the game in such a short period of time. Disney’s collaboration also fuels the growth of the title.
Rovio’s Angry Birds needs to watch out, as Temple Run is also entering the realm of of apparels, card board games and digital comics that Angry Birds currently dominates.
Temple Run is currently at number 2 on the App Store and number 1 on Google Play Store for Top Free Apps. You can check it out if you haven’t played it already.
