What’s better than watching ‘Terminator Genisys’ and winning a prize? Not much, which is why Paramount has announced their will be an interactive fan game before the movie in select AMC IMAX theaters.
‘Terminator Genisys’ premieres in theaters nationwide tomorrow (Wednesday, July 1) and when it does moviegoers can play an interactive on their phones, with a chance to win a special poster.
The game, which is based on Glu Mobile’s Terminator Genisys: Revolution will run 3-minutes long and can be played on both iOS and Android devices.
The premise is a simple one: those who want to play will join the game and be assigned to one of four teams; Paramount has set up a secure Wi-Fi network with no download required.
Then, everyone will use their devices to aim and shoot at cyborgs on the screen.
The winning team will get a special poster once the movie ends and theaters will give them out until July 2nd, while supplies last.
Moviegoers worried about cell phones being a distraction can rest easy because the game will become inactive once the movie starts.
