The Bachelor Premiere: The Farmer Is A Prize Catch

In the last season of The Bachelorette, farmer Chris Doules was smitten by Bachelorette Andi Dorfman. His fans were let down, when Andi broke his heart when she could not see a life in the country with him.

He won the hearts of many with his old-world gentlemanly manners and is back in The Bachelor to win the heart of his “soulmate”.

And “win”, he seems to have done. For, according to ABC News, the new bachelor said last month, “I’m extremely happy and excited about the woman [out of 30] that, I don’t know, that won if you want to call that.”

The Bachelor fans will get to see the unfolding of “Prince Farming’s” (as ABC has dubbed him) love story on Monday, January 5, 2014, on the ABC TV network, at 8 PM ET, or 7 PM CT.

The new romance adventure is Season 19 of the long-running TV show, hosted by Chris Harrison.

Will Mr. Soules meet Mrs. Right, and live happily ever after in holy matrimony? Fans will be entertained for a few months as we watch women compete for his heart, and then follow his life with his trophy after the show.

For those who want to see past seasons of this highly dramatic show, the Amazon Instant Video library has 6 seasons (Seasons 13-18) available for streaming at $1.99 per episode. Seasons 13-17 are $14.99 per season, and Season 18 with Juan Pablo is $13.99.

Past season bachelors were Jason Mesnick in Season 13, Jake Pavelka in Season 14, Brad Womack in Season 15, Ben Fajnik in Season 16, and Sean Lowe in Season 17. I can tell you that some of these bachelors19 found their Mrs. Right, but to not spoil the stories for those who have not watched, I won’t tell you which.

I will be DVRing the season premiere,. It’s one of my favorite shows.

I’d love to hear whether you too are a fan, and your thoughts on the show. Leave your comments below!
