With just about every retailer offering Black Friday electronics deals it can be confusing and time consuming to find what you need at the best price.
So, to make things easy for you Consumer Press has done extensive research and compiled this list showing what the best bargains are and where you can get them.
Deals are listed by item for your convenience.
PlayStation 4: This is one of the hottest items of the season and after lots of research we’ve found that Toys “R” Us is best because they have more bundle varieties. You can get a PlayStation 4 bundled with Grand Theft Auto V and The Last of Us: Remastered or with a Lego Batman 3 and Little Big Planet 3 bundle for $399.
XBox One : The PS 4’s rival can be seen on sale everywhere and after considerable research we found Target to have the best price. While all the major retailers have the XBox One bundles with Assassin’s Creed: Unity and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag for $329.99 Target also gives you a $50 gift card with your purchase, making it our top choice.
Video Games: Everyone is offering discounts but Toys “R” Us is tops here too as every game is 40% off- even the new ones.
GoPro Hero 3+ Silver Edition: This incredibly popular camera can be found as a Target Doorbuster for the low price of $249.99 plus you get a $50 Target gift card, making Target your best option. However, A Target spokeswoman told Consumer Press that quantities are limited so you will have to get their early and battle the crowds if you want one.
Walmart had the camera for an even lower price at $229, but the item is currently out of stock online and in the NY area, so there is a chance it won’t be available for Black Friday. A Walmart spokesperson told Consumer Press they are planning to restock in time, but couldn’t give an exact date.
Panasonic 50″ LED TV: TV’s are some of the biggest sale items this season and Best Buy, one of the biggest names in electronics has the biggest deal with this TV going for $199. It normally sells for $549.99, making this a $350 savings.
This is a Doorbuster item so you should get to the store by 3 P.M. (EST) on Thanksgiving, as Best Buy will be handing out tickets for the TV, as well as other items ahead of time. Doors open at 5 P.M. (EST) on Thanksgiving.
Smartphones: This is one of the most confusing categories in electronics, as everyone has a deal, but most have contingencies to qualify . After scouring all the sales we found these to be the 3 best smartphone deals”
– iPhone 5: Walmart has the phone fr $0 if you qualify, otherwise it’s $79.
-iPhone 6: This is a toss up between Walmart and Best Buy. New buyers should go with Walmart, who as it for $0 down if you qualify or $179.
Best Buy is the best choice for those looking to trade-in an existing iPhone, as you can get the 6 for $99 with a qualifying trade.
-Samsung Galaxy S5: Target has it for $0 down (depending on your credit and a 2-year contract) through AT&T, Verizon and Sprint.
* Also, windows users can get the Lumia 365 for $39 through the Microsoft store starting now.
MacBook Air (11″): Best Buy is tops here, as the seldom discounted MacBook is on sale for $779. It normally retails for $899, so your saving $120.
HP Envy (15″): This is another great Best Buy deal, as consumers often overlook lesser-known items like this one. The Envy is a great product from HP, with a touchscreen, 8 GB memory and a 750 GB hard drive with an Intel Core i5 processor for $499.
A solid, mid-sized PC at a great price.
Smasung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0: Sam’s Club is tops here because they have it for $149.99 starting at 7 A.M. (EST) on Black Friday. This is a members-only in-store sale, but members can grab the deal online on Thanksgiving.
Kmart also has it for $149.99, but it is a Doorbuster starting at 6 A.M. (EST) so quantities are limited.
