Written and directed by John Hughes’The Breakfast Club’ first hit theaters on March 5, 1985 and became an instant favorite with teens and young adults (myself included).
The movie followed 5 high school teenagers (Nelson, Hall and Sheedy, along with Emilio Estevez and Molly Ringwald) as they sit through a day of detention and discover that although they seem to come from different walks of life they are really all the same.
30 years later the movie is still as popular as ever thanks to its timeless message that helps teens everywhere feel a little less alone.
