The Comedy Central Roast That’s Bi-Winning [Video]

Immediately following the premiere of the new season of “Two and a Half Men,” where Charlie Sheen’s character had a mock funeral, a slightly cruel Comedy Central roast took place in his honor. Comedians, such as Seth MacFarlane, Steve-O, Mike Tyson, Jeffrey Ross, and Jon Lovitz, took ferocious aim at Sheen’s history of employing prostitutes and drug use. The comedians let the cruel jokes rip, as well as even made jokes regarding Sheen’s children.

Below are a few of the many jokes told on the Comedy Central roast that was directed towards Sheen:

“If you’re winning, this must not be a child custody hearing. The only time your kids get to see you is in reruns — don’t you want to live to see their first 12 steps?” — Jeffrey Ross

“You dropped out of school faster than Casey Anthony’s kid.” — Anthony Jeselnik

“Brooke Mueller is not very bright unless Charlie throws a lamp at her. … Mike Tyson, your opponents spent more time bleeding in the corner than Charlie’s ex wives.” — Jeffrey Ross

For the most part, Sheen brushed off the hurtful jokes and comments, and even fired back some jokes of his own.

Comedy Central’s Charlie Sheen roast went viral on Twitter, due to the channel posting hashtags such as #SheenRoast and #CrazyTrain before and during the show.

“The Charlie Sheen Roast is one of our biggest events of the year and we wanted to do something big and cool with it,” Steve Grimes, Comedy Central’s Senior Vice President of Digital Media, told TheWrap.

A promotional video that Comedy Central released on Sept. 13th advertising the roast can be viewed in the media player below.
