Among this week’s new releases include The Conjuring, The Internship and Planes.
The Conjuring tells the true story of how paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren helped a family terrorized by a demonic spirit during the 1970s.
The film stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor and Joey King.
Next up, Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson star in The Internship.
Two older, out-of-work salesmen (Vaughn and Wilson) land an important internship with Google.
However, neither realizes they will have to compete with a crowd of younger and smarter technology geeks in order to land their dream job.
The Internship co-stars Rose Byrne, Max Minghella and Tiya Sircar.
Also appearing this week is Disney’s Planes, featuring the voices of Dane Cook, Stacy Keach, Teri Hatcher and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
In the animated film, a small cropdusting plane dreams of becoming a racer and competing in the “Wings Across the World” aerial race.
Next up, Parks and Recreation star Aubrey Plaza stars in the comedy The To-Do List.
Upcoming college freshman Brandy (Plaza) makes a to-do list of things she wishes to accomplish during her senior year in high school in order to gain more sexual experience.
The To-Do List also stars Bill Hader, Alia Shawkat, Rachel Bilson and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
Other noteworthy releases this week include Babysitter’s Beware, Mother, The Ouija Experiment, Violet and Daisy, She’s Still Not Our Sister, Paradise, and The Way, Way Back.
