Netflix is set to exclusively stream the BBC2’s psychological thriller miniseries “The Fall” starting May 28.
The Fall, a five episode miniseries written and created by Allan Cubitt, follows senior police officer Stella Gibson (played by Gillian Anderson) as he investigates a string of murders in and around Belfast, Northern Ireland.
As with many regular season shows, Netflix will release all five episodes at once. Marathon time anyone?
Anderson’s performance was highly praised by The Daily Beast, who stated: “For Anderson this is a role that she was born to play: uncompromising and flinty, radiating a ferocity and tough conviction.”
The Fall also features Once Upon A Time‘s Jamie Dornan, who stars as the serial predator and The Good Wife‘s Archie Panjabi, who plays a medical examiner.
