Photos from the set of the Flash have appeared online, and in them we are treated to our first look at Dominic Purcell as Heatwave.
First announced back in early September, Purcell joins the Flash as mick Rory a.k.a Heatwave, a member of the supervillain team the Rogues, and a pyromaniac who wields a deadly flamethrower which he uses to combat the Flash and terrorize Central City.
In the pictures (by Nigel Horsley which you can view, here.) Dominic is reunited with his Prison Break co-star Wentworth Miller, who was cast as fan-favorite Flash villain Leonard Snart a.k.a Captain Cold.
Suited up in the series take on their classic costumes, fans will appreciate the love and attention that the creative team have been injecting into this series.
So far the Flash has hit the ground running and shows no sign of slowing, along with the casting of Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller as Heatwave and Captain Cold, the series has already cast two more Rogues members in Andy Mientus as Pied Piper and Nick Tarabay as Captain Boomerang (we were also treated to a version of the Weather Wizard in the series pilot).
The Flash stars Grant Gustin and is currently airing Tuesday nights on The CW
