Are you a Star Trek fanatic?
Love The Hunger Games?
How about James Bond?
Well if so then you’re going to want to sign up with Hulu, because as of October 1st that’s where all of these movies will be streaming thanks to an epic deal with Epix (get it?).
All joking aside, as of today Epix has ended their long-term partnership with Netflix and joined forces with Hulu, which means their will be big changes in the streaming world.
Epix and Hulu reached a multi-year agreement with that will bring new movies from Lionsgate, MGM, and Paramount to Netflix’s biggest rival starting next month.
So starting October 1st The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, World War Z, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Wolf of Wall Street, and Anchorman 2 will be seen exclusively on Hulu along with other titles.
While this isn’t great news for Netflix, it may not be that bad, since they have a deal with Disney that will be bringing Pixel, Marvel and Lucasfilm movies to them in a few months.
What do you think of this new announcement? Will it make you sign-up with Hulu?
