“The Killing” Will Return For Season 3

AMC and Fox Television studios has announced that it’s crime drama, The Killing will return for a 3rd season. The show was originally cancelled after it’s second season when it solved the murder of Rosie Larson.

Lead actors Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman will return to solve a completely new crime story in this 13 episode addition to the series.

The producers promise this time to have the case solved over the course of those 13 episodes, unlike the murder of Rosie Larson, which had fans outraged when they didn’t wrap the story up by the end of the first season.

The show will pick up a year after season 2 ended, and many things have changed. Some characters will not return, such as Mayor Richmond (played by Billy Campbell), but there will be new characters introduced to help fill in the holes.

There is no news yet as to who will fill these character roles, but more information is likely to come out by the end of February.

Production is set to start on February 25th in Vancouver, Canada.

The question now is, will people return to the show they felt betrayed them when they didn’t wrap up the story line when they promised they would.
